It will be the award winning New Yorker company Mark Morris Dance Group, with its twenty dancers, to enliven the evenings of the next weekend (5, 6, 7 July at 21:15) in the enchanting setting of the Teatro Romano. Winner of numerous prestigious International awards, Morris has changed the way the audiences look at modern dance, and with his unique talent which reflects a profound and sophisticated love for music he will present five new choreographies for Italy at Spoleto56.
The choreographer, guest of the Festival of 2Worlds for three of the four dates of the Italian tour, is back in Italy after many years with his Dance Group to enchant us with his refined choreographies which will come to life with strictly live music performed by three musicians of the MMDG Music Ensemble.
