The Festival dei 2Mondi potentiates its presence on the web. Completely renovated with updated graphics and content, the official website of the Festival www.festivaldispoleto.com, just in the first two weeks online recorded double the number of visitors as the same period last year. The interest shown by visitors for the site was very positive, and once linked, they did not log out, yet continued their navigation carefully exploring the different sections: program, press releases, news, press clippings, photographs and archives of past editions of the Festival are only some of the contents available. Furthermore, the English and the mobile version will soon be online, so the site can be visited anywhere directly from your mobile phone. To the delight of the "socially addicted" this year more than ever, the Festival will be present on social networks and social media, starting with Facebook, the most beloved and visited: through its official page, every day the Festival is there, announcing the shows, citing the official pages of its characters, interacting with their fans, giving behind the scenes previews and sharing photographs of performances and events involved. The participation data is encouraging to date: nearly 4,000 fans, 2,000 average weekly visits and 33,000 daily viewings. Spoleto55 will be present on Twitter as well: using 140 characters for, comments on shows, news, tips, and useful last minute memos.
Do not miss the Festival´s official channel on YouTube, where videos of the 4 previous editions are already available. During the event, it will be updated with promos and official videos of the shows, including interviews with authors, curators and members. Photos of the current and past editions are already on Flickr, and during the Festival there will be a daily selection of significant images and geolocated photos.
